周与天 = minggu dan hari 周和周、天和天对齐相加。先加天：满七天就换成一周，送到周那一栏，天栏留下余下的天数；再加周，记得加上进来的一周。 例子：1 周 6 天 + 3 天 → 1 周 9 天 → 2 周 2 天。 注意：天那一栏满七就要进位，不能留下七或以上。

dekad 与年 = dekad dan tahun 只有年数的那一项，要和年那一栏对齐。先加年：满十年就换成一个 dekad，送到 dekad 那一栏，年栏留下余数；再加 dekad。 例子：4 dekad 9 年 + 3 年 → 4 dekad 12 年 → 5 dekad 2 年。 注意：单独的年数不能加到 dekad 那一栏去。

decades and years = dekad dan tahun An item with only years goes under the years column. Add the years first; 10 years make a dekad, which moves to the dekad column, and the rest stays as years. Then add the dekad. Example: 4 dekad 9 years + 3 years → 4 dekad 12 years → 5 dekad 2 years. Watch out: years on their own must not be added to the dekad column.

小时相加 = tambah jam 第一项只有小时，要写在小时那一栏下面。先把小时相加，满二十四就换出一天，小时栏留下余下的；再把天数加上进来的一天。 例子：5 小时 + 1 天 22 小时 → 1 天 27 小时 → 2 天 3 小时。 注意：只有小时的数不能写到天那一栏。

adding hours = tambah jam The first item has only hours, so write it under the hours column. Add the hours; if they reach 24, change 24 hours into a day and keep the rest. Then add the carried day to the days. Example: 5 hours + 1 day 22 hours → 1 day 27 hours → 2 days 3 hours. Watch out: a number of hours must not be written in the days column.

abad 与年 = abad dan tahun 先把年和年相加：满一百年就换成一个 abad，送到 abad 那一栏，年栏留下余下的年数；再把 abad 相加，加上进来的那一个。 例子：1 abad 60 年 + 70 年 → 1 abad 130 年 → 2 abad 30 年。 注意：abad 要满一百年才进一，余下的年数要写成两位。

centuries and years = abad dan tahun Add the years first. If they reach 100, change 100 years into an abad, move it to the abad column and keep the rest as years. Then add the abad, including the carried one. Example: 1 abad 60 years + 70 years → 1 abad 130 years → 2 abad 30 years. Watch out: an abad needs 100 years, and the years left are written with two digits.
