Soalan 1 / 3Latihan tambahan
Harga sebuah gitar kecil RM135. Nora sudah ada RM45. Dia boleh menyimpan RM30 sebulan. Berapa bulankah dia perlu menyimpan lagi?
how many more months = berapa bulan lagi Step 1: subtract to find how much more money is needed: the price minus the money already saved. Step 2: see how many monthly savings fit into that amount by dividing; that is the number of months still needed. Example: an item costs RM100, RM25 is saved and RM15 is saved each month, so RM75 is needed and RM75 ÷ RM15 = 5 months. Watch out: do not divide the whole price; subtract the money already saved first.
Soalan 2 / 3Latihan tambahan
Baki Ravi RM40. Dia mendapat upah RM15, kemudian membeli pen RM8. Berapakah baki baharu?
working out the balance = kira baki Start from the old balance and handle each amount in order: a wage is money in, so add it; a purchase is money out, so subtract it. Each step gives a new balance. Example: balance RM10, receive RM5, spend RM2: RM10 + RM5 − RM2 = RM13. Watch out: decide first whether each amount is in or out; adding the spending too is a common mistake.
Soalan 3 / 3Latihan tambahan
earning money honestly = dapat wang dengan jujur A good way to earn money meets two conditions: it comes from your own effort, and it is honest and harms no one. For each idea ask: is this money earned by my own work? Will I have to give it back to someone? Example: helping your family sell vegetables you grew is a good way; selling someone else's things is wrong. Watch out: the question asks for the way that is NOT good, so read it carefully.
