3 soalan untuk mengukuhkan unit Akal Pintar. Jika salah, baca petunjuk dan cuba lagi.
Kad: 9, 7, 5, 3, 1. □□□□□ ÷ 100, baki 26? Boleh atau tidak?
check whether it is possible = semak boleh atau tidak
The remainder after dividing by 100 is the last two digits of the number. So to get a certain remainder, the cards must include both digits of that remainder. Split the remainder into tens and ones, then look for those cards.
Example: with cards 3, 8, 0, 5, 2 a remainder of 52 is possible (there are a 5 and a 2), but 47 is not (there is no 4 or 7).
Watch out: before saying yes, make sure every card you use is really there.
Kad: 4, 8, 2, 6, 5. ÷ 100, baki 65, hasil bahagi paling kecil. Nombor itu ialah …
the smallest quotient = hasil bahagi paling kecil
Use the remainder to fix the last two digits; the other three cards make the quotient. For the smallest quotient, arrange those three from smallest to largest, with the smallest digit first.
Example: cards 9, 3, 7, 1, 5 with remainder 15 and the smallest quotient: the rest make 379, giving 37 915.
Watch out: smallest and largest are arranged in opposite directions, so circle that word when you read.
Kad: 3, 0, 8, 5, 1. ÷ 100, baki 5. Dua digit terakhir ialah …
the remainder and the last two digits = baki dan dua digit terakhir
When dividing by 100, the last two digits of the five-digit number (tens and ones) read together as one number give the remainder. So look for the two digits that, placed in the tens and ones in that order, read exactly as the remainder in the question. Read each choice as tens then ones and compare it with the remainder.
Example: for a remainder of 47, put 4 in the tens and 7 in the ones; placed as 7 and 4, the remainder would be 74.
Watch out: the remainder is always less than 100; when reading the last two digits, the tens digit comes first.
