两组和相加 = tambah jumlah dua kumpulan 题目给出两组队伍各自跑的总距离，问四队一共跑了多少。把两组的距离当成两个数相加，竖式按数位对齐，满十进位，答案记得写单位 m。 例子：一组队伍跑 600 m，另一组跑 400 m，四队一共 1 000 m。 注意：“一共”是求和；两个数的差不是四队的总距离。

Add the two group distances in columns, carrying when needed, and keep the unit m. Example: one pair of teams ran 600 m and the other pair ran 400 m, so all four ran 1 000 m. Regroup all the way when subtracting from a whole ten thousand, and add the groups back to check. Example: a total of 8 000 with one group of 3 150 leaves 8 000 − 3 150 = 4 850; check 3 150 + 4 850 = 8 000. Watch out: this is not an addition, and subtracting from a number full of zeros needs regrouping in every place.

两组一样 = dua kumpulan sama 题目说 C + D 的和与 A + B 一样。所以先写出 C + D 的和，再把两组相加，就是四个数的总和；也可以想成“两组一样的数”，用 2 乘一组。 例子：两组各是 3 500，总和是 3 500 + 3 500 = 7 000。 注意：一组的和只是一半，不是四个数的总和；也不要乘错倍数。

two equal groups = dua kumpulan sama The second group has the same sum as the first. Write down the second group's sum, then add the two groups; you can also multiply one group by 2. Example: two groups of 3 500 each make 3 500 + 3 500 = 7 000. Watch out: one group's sum is only half of the total, and do not multiply by the wrong number.
