读五位数 = baca nombor lima digit 题目要你从三个读法里选出这个五位数的正确读法。把数拆成两段：空格左边的两位数读成“几十几 ribu”，空格右边的三位数像普通三位数那样读。然后拿每个选项的两段来对照，两段都要对。 例子：82 315 = lapan puluh dua ribu tiga ratus lima belas。 注意：有的读法把万位和千位调换了，也有的漏了个位，要逐个数位核对。

words to numerals = perkataan kepada angka Choose the numeral that matches the Malay words. The words before ribu give the two digits before the space; the words after ribu give the last three digits. If only tens are named, the hundreds place is 0. Example: lima puluh ribu enam puluh = 50 060. Watch out: do not mix up puluh (tens) and ratus (hundreds); the part after the space always has exactly three digits.

读计数器 = baca pembilang 题目给一个计数器的图，要找出它表示的数。从最左边的万位杆开始，一根一根往右数珠子。每颗珠只算 1，杆上有几颗珠，那个数位就写几；没有珠的杆写 0。 例子：五根杆依次有 5、2、0、7、1 颗珠 → 52 071。 注意：不要从右往左读；也不要漏掉空杆，空杆一定要写 0 占位。

read a counting frame = baca pembilang The picture shows a counting frame; choose the number it shows. Start with the ten thousands rod on the left and count the beads on each rod. Every bead is worth 1, and an empty rod gives the digit 0. Example: rods with 5, 2, 0, 7 and 1 beads show 52 071. Watch out: read from left to right, and never skip an empty rod; it must be written as 0.

读算盘 = baca abakus 这是有横梁的算盘，要读出它表示的数。从最左边的万位柱开始，一柱一柱往右读。每柱只看靠近横梁的珠子：上珠算 5，下珠每颗算 1，加起来就是那一位的数字。没有珠子靠梁的柱写 0。 例子：五柱依次是 3、0、5、0、9 → 30 509。 注意：离开横梁的珠子不算；柱的次序不能倒过来。

read an abacus = baca abakus This abacus has a beam. Start with the ten thousands rod on the far left and read each rod to the right. Count only the beads touching the beam: a top bead is 5 and each bottom bead is 1. A rod with no beads on the beam is 0. Example: rods showing 3, 0, 5, 0, 9 make 30 509. Watch out: beads away from the beam do not count, and the rods must not be read backwards.

If only a ones digit is named, the hundreds and tens places are 0. Example: tiga puluh ribu sembilan = 30 009. Watch out: missing a zero makes the number too short, and putting the ones digit in the hundreds place makes it far too big.

找对的读法 = cari sebutan yang betul 三个人读同一个数，要找出谁读对了。先自己读：左边两位读成“几十几 ribu”，右边三位读成普通三位数。再把每个人的读法分成两段来检查，两段都对才算对。 例子：61 470 = enam puluh satu ribu empat ratus tujuh puluh。 注意：十几用 belas，几十几用 puluh；后三位里的十位和个位也不要读反。

十万 = seratus ribu 题目问 seratus ribu 写成数字是哪一个。seratus 是一百，ribu 是千，所以 seratus ribu 就是一百个一千。想一想：一千有几个 0？一百个一千又要再多几个 0？数清楚 0 的个数再选。 例子：dua puluh ribu 是二十个一千，写成 20 000，是五位数。 注意：选项的 0 很容易看错，要一个一个数；也要记得 seratus ribu 是这个单元最大的数。

one hundred thousand = seratus ribu The question asks which numeral is seratus ribu. Seratus means one hundred and ribu means thousand, so it is one hundred thousands. Think how many zeros a thousand has and how many more you need for a hundred of them. Example: dua puluh ribu is twenty thousands, written 20 000, a five-digit number. Watch out: the zeros are easy to miscount, so count them one by one; this is the biggest number in the unit.
