比的问题 = masalah nisbah 8 份是鸭子的数目，先求 1 份，鸡就是 1 份。 例子：比 1 : 4，大的是 20，1 份是 5。 注意：鸡只有 1 份，比鸭子少，所以答案要用除法，不是乘法。

a ratio problem = masalah nisbah The ducks are 8 parts; find 1 part, which is the number of chickens. Example: ratio 1 : 4 with the larger amount 20 gives 1 part = 5. Watch out: the chickens are only 1 part, fewer than the ducks, so divide; do not multiply.

轴上两点的距离 = jarak dua titik pada paksi 两个点都在横轴上，距离就是第一个数字的差。 例子：(1, 0) 到 (6, 0) 是 5 格。 注意：求距离要相减，不是把两个数字加起来；可以在方格上数一数检查。

distance between two points on an axis = jarak dua titik pada paksi Both points are on the x-axis, so the distance is the difference between their first numbers. Example: (1, 0) to (6, 0) is 5 units. Watch out: subtract to find the distance; do not add the numbers, and you can count on the grid to check.
