Darab Masa

乘完再换 = darab, kemudian tukar 七辆脚车，每辆五小时，七乘五等于三十五小时。三十五小时里有一个二十四小时，剩十一小时，所以是一天十一小时。 例子：6 × 6 小时 = 36 小时 = 1 天 12 小时。 注意：答案要按题目写成天和小时。

multiply, then change = darab, kemudian tukar 7 bicycles at 5 hours each: 7 × 5 = 35 hours. 35 hours hold one 24 with 11 left, so 1 day 11 hours. Example: 6 × 6 hours = 36 hours = 1 day 12 hours. Watch out: write the answer in days and hours as asked.

几天几小时相乘 = darab hari dan jam 小时栏和天栏都要乘四：四乘九等于三十六小时，四乘一等于四天。三十六小时满二十四，拿出一天，剩十二小时，天数变五。答案五天十二小时。 例子：3 × 1 天 10 小时 = 3 天 30 小时 = 4 天 6 小时。 注意：先乘，再进位。

multiplying days and hours = darab hari dan jam Multiply both columns by 4: 4 × 9 = 36 hours and 4 × 1 = 4 days. 36 hours make 1 day with 12 hours left, so 5 days 12 hours. Example: 3 × 1 day 10 hours = 3 days 30 hours = 4 days 6 hours. Watch out: multiply first, then regroup.

两种方法 = dua cara 方法一：先把三周两天换成天，三乘七加二等于二十三天，再乘六得一百三十八天。方法二：先分别乘，得十八周十二天，再把十八周换成一百二十六天，加十二天，也是一百三十八天。 例子：2 × 1 周 3 天 = 20 天。 注意：题目要天，所以最后都换成天。

two methods = dua cara Method 1: change 3 weeks 2 days to 3 × 7 + 2 = 23 days, then × 6 = 138 days. Method 2: multiply each unit to get 18 weeks 12 days, then 18 weeks = 126 days, plus 12 = 138 days. Example: 2 × 1 week 3 days = 20 days. Watch out: the question wants days, so finish in days.

月乘数 = darab bulan 七乘十四个月等于九十八个月。再把月换成年：九十八除以十二，八个十二是九十六，余二，所以是八年两个月。 例子：5 × 6 个月 = 30 个月 = 2 年 6 个月。 注意：余数是月，要比十二小。

multiplying months = darab bulan 7 × 14 months = 98 months. Change to years: 98 ÷ 12 = 8 remainder 2, so 8 years 2 months. Example: 5 × 6 months = 30 months = 2 years 6 months. Watch out: the remainder is months and must be less than 12.

dekad 与 abad = dekad dan abad 十乘四个 dekad 六年：dekad 栏得四十，年栏得六十年；六十年就是六个 dekad，所以一共四十六个 dekad。十三乘八年等于一百零四年，一百年是一个 abad，剩四年，所以是一个 abad 四年。 例子：10 × 2 dekad 3 年 = 23 dekad。 注意：年满十要换成 dekad，满一百要换成 abad。

decades and centuries = dekad dan abad 10 × 4 dekad 6 years: 40 dekad and 60 years; 60 years are 6 dekad, so 46 dekad. 13 × 8 years = 104 years; 100 years are 1 abad, leaving 4, so 1 abad 4 years. Example: 10 × 2 dekad 3 years = 23 dekad. Watch out: 10 years make a dekad and 100 years an abad.

天和小时乘数 = darab hari dan jam 用乘数分别乘小时和天：小时栏的积如果满二十四，就数一数里面有几个二十四，每一个换成一天加到天那一栏，小时栏只留下不满二十四的部分。 例子：2 × 1 天 15 小时 → 2 天 30 小时 → 3 天 6 小时。 注意：小时里可能有不止一个二十四，要全部换完。

If the hours reach 24, count how many 24s they hold; each one becomes a day in the days column, and only the part under 24 stays as hours. 年月相乘 = darab tahun dan bulan 先用乘数乘月，再乘年。月的积满十二，就找出里面有几个十二，每个换成一年，加到年那一栏；月栏留下不满十二的部分。 例子：3 × 1 年 5 个月 → 3 年 15 个月 → 4 年 3 个月。 注意：进位后要把换来的年数加到年那一栏，不能漏掉。

multiplying years and months = darab tahun dan bulan Multiply the months and then the years. If the months reach 12, find how many 12s they hold; each becomes a year in the years column, and the months under 12 stay. Example: 3 × 1 year 5 months → 3 years 15 months → 4 years 3 months.
