电子表格（例如 MS Excel）是一格一格的表，每一格有列字母和行数字，例如 B2。把每天得到的钱和花掉的钱打进去，再用公式 =SUM 让电脑自动加总，就不容易算错。这个活动要记录伟杰六天的收入和支出，看看剩下的钱够不够买足球。
例子：=SUM(B2:B4) 就是把 B2、B3、B4 三格加起来。
注意：数字打错了，总数也会错，输入后要检查。

A spreadsheet such as MS Excel is a grid of cells, each named by a column letter and a row number, for example B2. Type in the money received and spent each day, then use the formula =SUM so the computer adds them up. In this activity we record six days of Wei Jie's income and spending to see whether what is left is enough for the futsal ball.
Example: =SUM(B2:B4) adds the cells B2, B3 and B4.
Watch out: if a number is typed wrongly the total is wrong too, so check after typing.

每一行是一天。A 列写钱从哪里来（零用钱、帮忙折衣服的工钱、爷爷给的钱），B 列写得到多少钱；C 列写买了什么，D 列写花了多少钱。第八行要放总数：在 B8 输入公式 =SUM(B2:B7)，电脑就会把 B2 到 B7 六格加起来；D8 用 =SUM(D2:D7)。
例子：=SUM(D2:D4) 求前三天一共花了多少钱。
注意：没有花钱的那天要写 0.00，不能空着。

Each row is a day. Column A says where the money came from (pocket money, pay for folding clothes, money from grandpa) and column B how much; column C says what was bought and column D how much it cost. Row 8 holds the totals: typing =SUM(B2:B7) in B8 adds the six cells B2 to B7, and =SUM(D2:D7) goes in D8.
Example: =SUM(D2:D4) finds the total spent in the first three days.
Watch out: on a day with no spending, type 0.00 rather than leaving it empty.

Apakah nilai dalam sel B8 (=SUM(B2:B7))?
求得到的总数 = jumlah dapat wang
B8 的公式把 B2 到 B7 六格全部加起来。B 列里除了几天的零用钱，还有别的收入，每一格都要算进去。可以先把相同的零用钱用乘法算，再加上其他的收入。
例子：B 列是 RM3、RM3、RM2.50，=SUM 得 RM8.50。
注意：看清楚每一行的来源，别只加零用钱而漏了工钱和别人给的钱。

The formula in B8 adds all six cells from B2 to B7. Besides the pocket money on several days, column B has other income too, and every cell counts. Multiply the equal pocket-money amounts first, then add the other income.
Example: if column B holds RM3, RM3 and RM2.50, =SUM gives RM8.50.
Watch out: read the source on every row; do not add only the pocket money and miss the pay and gifts.
Jumlah belanja
Apakah nilai dalam sel D8 (=SUM(D2:D7))?
求花掉的总数 = jumlah belanja
D8 的公式把 D 列六天花掉的钱全部加起来。带仙的数加的时候对齐小数点，仙满一百进一令吉。没有花钱的那天是零，也在这一列里。
例子：D 列是 RM1.20、RM0.80、RM0.00，=SUM 得 RM2.00。
注意：不要把 B 列（得到的钱）的总数当成花掉的钱。
total spent = jumlah belanja
The formula in D8 adds the money spent on all six days in column D. Line up the decimal points and carry when the sen reach 100. The day with no spending is 0 and is still in the column.
Example: if column D holds RM1.20, RM0.80 and RM0.00, =SUM gives RM2.00.
Watch out: do not use the column B total (money received) as the money spent.

做决定 = buat keputusan
剩下的钱等于得到的钱减去花掉的钱：二十六令吉减九令吉，剩十七令吉。在表格里可以输入公式 =B8-D8 求余额。足球要十五令吉九十仙，十七令吉比它多，所以钱够，买了以后还剩一令吉十仙。
例子：得到 RM20，花 RM8，剩 RM12；东西 RM10，够，还剩 RM2。
注意：要用余额去比较，不是用得到的总数去比较。

Money left = received − spent: RM26 − RM9 = RM17. In the sheet, the formula =B8-D8 finds the balance. The ball costs RM15.90 and RM17 is more, so there is enough, with RM1.10 left over.
Example: receive RM20, spend RM8, RM12 is left; an RM10 item is affordable with RM2 left.
Watch out: compare the balance, not the total received, with the price.
