二十五分之几 = per dua puluh lima 先写成“穿白鞋的人数 / 全部人数”。二十五乘四等于一百，分子也要乘四；也可以记住：从二十五个里面算，每一个就是百分之四。 例子：25 个里面 19 个 → 19/25 = 76/100 = 76%。 注意：分子要和分母乘同一个数；分母和分子的数字也不要搞混。

Example: 19 out of 25: 19/25 = 76/100 = 76%. Watch out: multiply the numerator and denominator by the same number, and do not mix up their digits.

先求另一部分 = cari bahagian lain dahulu 题目给的是一种水果的数量，问的却是另一种。方法一：用全部减去已知的，求出所问水果的数量，再化成百分比。方法二：先求已知水果的百分比，再用百分之一百减去它。 例子：20 个里面 5 个是 A，其余是 B → B 有 15 个 → 15/20 = 75%；或 100% − 25% = 75%。 注意：看清楚题目问的是哪一种；求出数量后还要化成百分比，数量本身不是百分比。

find the other part first = cari bahagian lain dahulu The question gives the number of one fruit but asks about the other. Method 1: subtract to find how many of the fruit asked about, then change to a percentage. Method 2: find the percentage of the given fruit and take it from 100%. Example: 5 of 20 are A and the rest are B: 15 are B, so 15/20 = 75%; or 100% − 25% = 75%. Watch out: check which fruit is asked about, and a count is not yet a percentage.

先约分 = permudahkan dahulu 有些分母（像六十、四十）不能直接乘一个整数变成一百，就先约分：找分子和分母的公因数同时除掉，得到分母是二十、二十五或五十这类数，再乘成一百。也可以直接乘以 100%。 例子：12/60 = 1/5 = 20/100 = 20%。 注意：用全部减去部分，求到的是另一部分的数量，不是百分比。

simplify first = permudahkan dahulu Some denominators, like 60 or 40, cannot be multiplied by a whole number to make 100. Simplify first by dividing by a common factor, to get a denominator such as 20, 25 or 50, then make it 100. Or multiply by 100%. Example: 12/60 = 1/5 = 20/100 = 20%. Watch out: the whole minus the part is the number in the other part, not a percentage.
